Many organisations are looking to increase their capacity to coach and be coached.

Creating a coaching culture is more than running some development activities, though that may be a part of it.  To truly create a coaching culture that fits your organisation, it’s important to check readiness and be challenged about your ability to shift your current culture.  We’ll create guidance and structure for you to work through, all supported by the opportunity to ‘hire’ expertise to help the process.

We’ll help your organisation to understand:
  • What the coaching vision is (what results are wanted)
  • How you’d like to coach each other (informally; formally; tools/approach)
  • What support you give coaches (training; supervision; peer-vision; accreditation)
  • Who will coach who (dedicated coaching team; coaching as a leadership or management style; upward/sideways coaching)
  • How you reinforce & reward coaching (especially when the going gets tough)
  • To what extent you’d like people to feel able to ask questions; say what they think/feel/would like to do; work with the challenges and situations they face.

Our aim is to work with the whole organisation and build the right context for coaching to support your success.  That means:

How we’ll work together

We’ll have a menu of workshops available for you to purchase on an adhoc basis, or work through more systematically. You don’t have to do all of them, but you won’t be able to move to ‘Level Two’ before you’ve done the basics on ‘Level One’ (and so forth).

You could choose to follow a variety of routes.  i.e you might:

  • Go more in-depth into one topic, by following up the workshop with coaching and/or supervision
  • Have ongoing coaching support, while you build leadership capability, cascading from the top down.  Working through the workshop levels (as appropriate to your organisation), over a period of 6/12/18 months
  • Take a ‘slice’ of the organisation to build manager’s capability as a coach; accredit people in that part of the organisation and review organisational processes/practice to support the new coaching culture
  • Simply introduce group coaching sessions, to support collaboration and development
