Matthew
Matthew is an experienced Financial Director, business coach and strategist, used to working extensively at board and director level across small and medium enterprises primarily in the UK but with some European activities. Matthew is TLC’s Financial Director.
His approach combines his business experience across sectors of manufacturing, commerce and service industries. Particular areas of expertise include business development, system development and strategic planning.
Matthew works primarily inside the business with limited client facing duties. However his approach is highly commercial and he sees the finance function as a mechanism to support and enhance the whole organisation and drive its presence in the market.
Operational Experience:
- Matthew has held many senior roles including multiple Finance Directorships, Company Secretary and Group Accountant.
- Matthew has held these roles in businesses from small sub £1m organisations through to £10m subsidiaries of listed American Companies.

Additional Expertise:
Having qualified as an accountant whilst working full time in a manufacturing industry Matthew gained wide experience across multiple sectors before setting up his own consultancy business in 1996. This was successfully merged into a larger accounting practice in 2000. Matthew still heads that consultancy business alongside his role at TLC.
